My Spring Break Adventure

I went to the ski trip for my spring break in Switzerland.

I'm excited to skiing in different country because I always went to the same ski resort in Korea.
When I arrived to school with my brother, there were many people who go to the ski trip. It takes total 14 hours to went to Switzerland. I'm so tired when I arrived to there because economy class is small and my leg was painful. Another reason was that because we were transfer and it takes almost 40 minutes.

We went to the hotel that near by Saas-Fee(Ski resort). To went to our hotel, we have to go by a bus and it takes 3hours. When we were there, we unpacked our baggage first. Then, we came out and counselors introduced themselves. After that, we got our skis and boards and boots. Finally we were ready to ski but we're not ski at first day. At dinner time, we ate soup first and all the soups were delicious. We went to the Saas-Fee and we have to bring our own skis to the snow and it's very far away from where we standing. I'm skied for 6 years but my ski was very heavy. My arms were very painful. It's little hot. I love to skiing, but the first day, I don't wanted to ski because I'm so tired. The lift was bit different with Korea. It's was a button lift. We go on by the ski at the ground. It's so uncomfortable but the ski was fun. Second day, my group went higher slope. It was so fun. Few days, we jump from small hill and it's so funny. One time I jump, and I go up 40cm and I fall down. At the final day, we packed everything but I didn't packed my washing tool because I have to hurry up and forgot about it.

We arrived to Malaysia at sunday. It takes 14 hours on plane to came back to here again. I'm so sleepy and I just slept in the bus. Also, my face got sunburn because I didn't put my suncream on and my goggle place was white and my the other part of my face was little brown. I'm so relaxed when I got home.

It's very fun trip with my group. My ski skill was improved by going ski trip. I hope I can go to ski trip again.

Environmental Factors Paragraph 1: Vegetation

Vegetation such a trees and gra

The trees give shades and that shades protect us from sun rays which may cause skin cancer. The grasses are food for the herbivore such as cattle and they help people to plow the farms. Also, the grasses can be a home for the bugs and beneficial insect such as spiders, mantis, lady burgs and ETC. They eat harmful insects such as mosquitoes and ticks.

Environmental Factors Paragraph 2: Bodies of Water

There are bodies of water that people need. There are rivers, seas and the other bodies of water. People need fresh water to wash their bodies, grow their crops healthy and drink the water. Also, there are many kinds of fishes in the seas and fishes can be our food to survive. They transport the goods from the other countries and transport to the other countries across the sea.

Is my country a civilization?

A few month ago, I learned characteristics of the civilization of the Sumerian. There were 7 characteristics of civilization. It's stable food supply, social structure, government, religion, arts, technology and writing. So, I will see if my country is civilization or not.

Religion :
There are some of the religion in my country. The two examples of religion are Buddhism, Christianity and Catholicism.

You can see the church a lot of places but you have to go to the special place to see the temples like right picture.

The majority takes Buddhism and Christianity as their religion and Buddhism has been the most popular one since its first way into Korea in A.D. 372. There are many beautiful historical temple buildings in Korea.

Technology :

There are many technologies in Korea. Shipbuilding, construction, car, mobile phone and IT. My country is powerful country of IT so Korea's internet speed is much faster than many other many countries include Malaysia. You can see a lots of the computer, TV and many other electronic products. Samsung and LG have become world brand from Korea. Korea exports a lot of cars to the worlds and we can find Hyundai and KIA easily in Malaysia and Singapore.

Stable food supply :
In my country, we have stable food supply. We have rice, radish, cabbage and some other food supply. We cook the meal with the vegetables, beef, pork and fruit with some of appetizer. We get food supply from the farm, orchard and the other place. The farmers produce the.

Government :
Every country have a government. Government make the laws for the people to keep rules and they collected the taxes to give salary to public officials and for the government. They protect the people and negotiation with the other country for them and people. Under the president, there are member of the National assembly.

Writing :
We use language for speaking, reading and writing. They learn their own language and the other language from the other country. The king Sejong in ancient Korea create the language called 'Hun-min-jeong-eum.' Later, the language changed a bit.

Arts :
There is art in my country such as painting and music. Korean usually paints animals, nature and working people. Many archeologists have found that Koreans love to drink, sing and dance. Various pieces of drawn arts had been found from ancient tombs all around the country and their painting motives are also varies from dragons to their daily lifestyle. In the meantime, they made very beautiful porcelain potteries.

social structure :
There are no social structure in Korea because now, everyone is equal of course there are many different jobs. There are government servants, business men, fishermen, farmers, rubbers, bank gangsters, policemen, soldiers, scientists, professor and ETC. There were kings in Korean history but, there's no more monarch in modern democratic.
